Anodized Aluminum Handle Shaving Brush, Synthetic Fiber

Each shaving brush is handmade and assembled in my studio using premium quality materials. 

• The aluminum handles are made from repurposed commercial aluminum pipe.
• The handle is made from cut segments of this pipe, which are individually turned to shape on my metal lathe. 
• The original surface on the aluminum pipe purposely remains, including the lines from the manufacturer extrusion process and the surface imperfections revealing “the marks of making”.
• The series of machined grooves near the top of the  handles serve to function as a gripping area for fingertips during use.
• Each handle is chemically etched and anodized to achieve a black matte surface. 
• The brush is completed using an acrylic core, sized properly for a tight fit and with a base for the bristle knot.
• The resulting balance and weight are calculated for efficient comfortable use.  (This handle would be much too heavy and unsuitable were it to be made of solid aluminum.)

Brush Bristle

• Each brush bristle knot assembly is densely packed with the finest grade of synthetic fibers that are very soft and also stiff enough to produce a good lather for application. These brushes are eco-friendly and vegan.
• You can expect a very pleasant shaving experience and many years of daily service from my brushes.
